Forgotten Dreams

Another sunset's nocturnal submissions
provide life's needed intermissions.
Last night, you revisited me there,
laughing, with bows in your flowing hair.
There's much to know and learn, it seems,
but I must forget what I saw in dreams.

liked the 'dreamy' quality of your poem, especially liked the last line.

I like the sunset intermissions - though perhaps the sunset is the movie that I pause to watch, and in that weird neither-day-nor-night time it is easy to dream. I like the mystery in your poem. J :)

I see loved ones who passed in dreams. This poem brings back those feelings. Good job!

Thanks, Karen! yes, it's so amazing how real it seems, and yes, brings good feelings. Then it disappears...sometimes that's disappointing.
