Forgotten
Imprisoned in the hell,
That was his own mind,
The madness from within,
No peace, he could find.
The world had turned it's back,
On the warrior, he had been,
No respite or safe haven,
From the horrors he had seen.
His eyes blank from sadness,
His heart a lonely beat,
The memories he tries to forget,
Forever play on repeat.
He was once admired,
He once stood proud and tall,
Why do we allow,
These great men to fall?
