Forgotten

(Philadelphias Homeless) I think we've all forgotten What a struggle really is Ignoring what's gone rotten In the lives none want to live.... With a stench of hope still dwelling From the smell of yesterday Upon a homeless man fortelling What will truly waste away... It may be just his choices Or some other circumstance That's drowning out the voices That could give him one more chance... But sadly with each tear that falls That is never to be seen Is a call to end it all Dying slowly in between... But when I get the moment To give back what I receive I pray that their atonement Gives them back what they believed... Terry WWW.WhiteLionPoetry.com
