Forgotten

You said you had forgotten me And you don't realize just how bad that can be But you don't care and you never will care I receive another crack, another tear You will never understand just how much that hurt throw me away, bury me in dirt You told me I had been forgotten And I feel so empty and rotten Your words are torturous like acidic rain Drowning me in never ending pain I am nothing more than a stranger to you And for me, that will just have to do So goodbye, I shall bear this on my own Driving down this bumpy road alone

How is it possible that such an amazing piece has so few comments? You are talented Becca.

Ouch. . .how can that not hurt? Sometimes people just don't realize how they have hurt someone....but some do... and it's cruel. I feel your pain. I know this is an old write..but still. It stays with us. Always, Laura

This is fantastic...I once wrote a poem quite similar to this one called Lesson Learned. But yours rhyme better and you have put more heart into it. Excellent job!!!
