Forgotten
waiting for her date to go to the dance,
he never shows,
she feels lost, confused,
she feels alone,
a storm has hit,
she stands alone,
all dressed up,
waiting for him,
waiting to be swept off her feet,
the prince of her dreams,
alone in a storm,
alone in the dark,
the forgotten.
