Forgotten

There is a certain part of me that is blurred
As if from an excruciating pain I was cured
And a buried part of me nestled with regret-
An aching sense of feeling I blindly forget.

My mind wants to recall what transpired
But my heart blocks it until it expired
Did I willingly escaped a heavy load
Or was I the victim of an event I was owed?

I will never know until I'll remember
That one rainy day in the month of September
The early memories I unconciously took
A leaf from my tree, a page from my book.
