Forgivness For All

<>A table set is for all
It does not differentiate sins great or small
He only asks there’s a price to pay
And you may almost have paid it anyway
You revere Gods son as Jesus Christ
But the vindication of Gods name is the price
He fought in heaven his angelic son
And cast Satan down to test each one
Knowing we are falling short
Is half the battle I would have thought
None is perfect you know, so do I
Neither those in rich garbs piety they cry
They can wave their arms and bless each other
But that doesn’t mean they can call Christ brother
Of sins we are all guilty of
But don’t the scriptures teach Gods love
Love for man he placed on earth to reside
Love knowing Satan is their to tempt us aside
Repentance comes from the heart
And knowing you need it is a start
Heavenly forgiveness is promised to all
If we change our ways and on God and His son we call
The table is set and I am sure my friend
You will get an invitation at your end

Yes! A-to the Men yo! And what KILLS me is the whole 2,000 years thing! Do you ever think about just how much of a blink of an eye that is in Universal terms!!! Wow. Man alone has been around SOOOO much longer. Why is the time written about in a book of poems soooo Godly and Holy? I do not knock dogma, to each his own, but why must they judge me? Nice piece. If I am reading what you are trying to say correctly, I Digg it! Oh btw, I think ya got a boo-boo there at the end of the piece? dbl Check.
