Forgiving Myself
I've always run on
raw nerves...
run on pure emotion...
these thoughts - feelings
inherited...my past this
pain my will determined
...ever searched self healing...
...this echo not reinstated...
I can't go back
I won't start again...
It took all my heart and soul
just to get me here...
...I won't give up!
...I won't give in...
you won't beat me...
this my heart always
understood...
I won't lay down
and just let you win...
this heart forgives...
I may cry in the night...
I may cry all alone...
I won't surrender
unless this love
is loving me
to the bone...
from my heart I now
know my inner self believes
this inner self is truly
reflective of me...
within my smile this
sometimes shows...
In my forgiveness...
In my forgiveness...
my love grows...
