Forgiveness People Always Don't But God Does
If you feel bad, or made a mistake,
If your heart hurts or your hands shake—
Don’t hide away, don’t run or fear,
Come to Me first, I’m always near.
If you feel scared, or did something wrong,
If your days feel dark and your nights feel long—
Don’t think I’ve left, don’t run away,
I’m still your Father, here to stay.
No matter where it is you go,
I’ll walk beside you, soft and slow.
I see your heart, I hear your cry,
I hold your tears, I won’t deny.
But I’m your Father, kind and true—
I always want to be with you.
I sent My Son to show My grace,
Not to be mad, but to embrace.
Not to condemn, but to forgive—
To show you love, to help you live.
He gave His life to set you free,
So you could come and walk with Me.
“I’ll have compassion,” I still say,
“I’ll show My mercy every day.”
My kindness shines, My arms are wide—
Come to Me first, don’t run and hide.
You’re still My child, My precious one—
I won’t forget what love has done.
If you say sorry, I forgive,
I clean your heart, I help you live.
Each morning brings a brand-new start,
With gentle love to heal your heart.
My kindness leads your heart to turn,
To feel My love, to grow, to learn.
You’re not too broken, not too bad,
I understand when you feel sad.
I’ll lift you up, I’ll help you stand—
Your life is still within My hand.
You’re My treasure, My delight,
Even when you cry at night.
I’ll lift you up, I’ll hold you tight—
I’ll guide you back into the light.
So come to Me, don’t be afraid,
I know the choices that you’ve made.
I’ll never leave, I’ll never shame—
I call you still by your true name.
So come, My child, with open hands,
I’ll help you walk, I understand.
I’ll never leave, I’ll never scold—
My love for you is brave and bold.
Goodness and mercy follow you,
In everything you say and do.
And you will live with Me, so free—
Forever loved… just come to Me.
