Forgiveness Is a Choice
I forgive you
Father,
Mother,
Friend and foe.
I forgive you
So I can continue
to grow.
I forgive you
More for myself
than for you,
Only God knows
what you’ve put me through.
I forgive you
For someone has hurt you
As well,
That’s the only reason you choose
To rebel.
I forgive you
Because God forgave me,
And I hope someday I will see you
Forgiven
In
Eternity.
