Forgiveness and Second Chances

There's something I must confess I have made the biggest mess And I'm sorry as can be Begging you to forgive me Standing her with my regrets Hoping something in you lets My apology be heard Knowing your heart is badly hurt There's no way I will stop trying To repair a heart that's dying From the error of my ways I must live with everyday When I left without a trace Tears falling on your sad face Not knowing the why or where The decision to disappear Was a choice I can't undo Knowing what I did to you Will haunt me forever more In memories that will be stored Always there to remind me My past and bad history Isn't fair to put on you You've never left me black and blue But I got scared enough to flee Thinking you'll do the same to me I'm emotionally mental You've been nothing except gentle Now I'm looking in your eyes Begging for just one more try Praying, wishing, hoping still There's a piece of love that will Be inside you somewhere deep And it somehow starts to seep Through your soul, body and mind Then maybe you just might find I am here to stay forever No mistakes will be made ever
