Forgiveness

Forgetting has nothing to do with forgiveness of Offenses, and forgiving the offender frees the offended. Refusal to forgive adds fuel to an already inflamed wound, Giving little hope of ever overcoming the hurt and moving on. I can only receive forgiveness from God as I am able to forgive others. Vindictive mind-sets and pursuits of revenge are valuless and most futile. Each of us is a candidate for appropriating God's Grace for His healing power, Never allowing the inflicted pain to push us into the quicksand of endless sorrow. Every person must have his day in the court of eternal justice; not in our hearts. Sometimes, it's hard and takes time to forgive and heal, because we are human. Sadness and sorrows will in time, pass, and our healing will become medicine for others. 10252017 PS
