Would you forgive me
Can you find it in your heart
My soul lies wounded
Actions abhorrent
Fall on me and me alone
I ask for mercy
I punish myself
More than I can be punished
I ache for your smile
Forgive me I pray
Return to me once again
You will hurt no more
