Forgiveness

Here I sit, here I think,
here I make not even a blink.
I sit in silence, I sit in grief,
here I make a heavy breathe.
I put off my mask
and it is God that I ask
is this really his plan
because to believe it, I can't.
I suffered a lot
to take any more, I could not.
I do need you so, Lord, but why?
A flow of tears now runs from my eyes.
With all my love and with all my awe,
with all my remorse
it is forgiveness I ask for.
