Forgiveness

Would you be able to forgive a murderer?
Someone who has killed a person
Who was dear to you
Could you forgive your brother
If he stole from you?
Would you forgive your friend
If they stole your date?
Huh would you?
Be honest would you?
Could you forgive a colleague
If they took the credit for
Your accomplishment?
Huh would you?
Be honest would you
Could you?
Forgiveness is probably the
Hardest thing to do on Earth
Simply because we will not let it go
But when we do something wrong
We want forgiveness
But we are not able to forgive someone
Who has done something wrong to us
The lack or unwillingness
To forgive can be associated
With pride
Yes that's right pride
But I already told you
About pride in my sin series
Now I'm comming to a close
My final question is
Would you be able to forgive
Someone who has given you
The worst disease known to man
A disease known as AIDS?
Huh would you?
Be honest would you
Could you?
Forgiveness is hard to do
But Jesus forgave us for
All of our sins
So why can't we forgive each other
Huh?
