Forgiveness
When friends say things that seem pretty curt,
Chances are high that feelings will be hurt.
It doesn't really matter who's wrong or right;
Either way it sure does seem to bite.
Big fight or little, there's sure to be pain;
In the end, you still have something to gain...
Because no one's perfect, and we all make mistakes;
A true friend works through the problem, whatever it takes.
So bite your tongue, maybe add another vowel;
Give your friends a chance, before throwing in the towel.
It's hard at first, but we've got to forgive,
Because living with hate, is no way to live.
I bet they will remember what you do;
When the tables are flipped, they'll be forgiving you!
