Forgiveness

Father forgive me me for the things that I have done

In you the victory is won

Let me not drift into worry

Let not my life be a hurry

Neither diminish my usefulness to others

May I care for and love my brothers

Pack what I can into the stream of life

Rid myself of grief and strife

Better my ways

For brighter days

Father forgive me for the things I have done

In you the victory is won

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Thanks so much. I have a verse for you too. Isaiah 40:31 Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings of eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint.
