Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a virtue they say,
But it's not easy to give away.
Especially when someone hurts us badly,
It's hard to forget the pain they had.
Yet, we must try to move on,
And let go of things that are gone.
For holding onto anger and hatred,
Will only make our lives more complicated.
So, though it's hard to forgive sometimes,
We must try to let go of past crimes.
And hope that someday we'll find peace,
And our broken hearts will finally cease.
