Forgiven
He was blind with no hope coming down on whatever,
She was down with this man that didnt care to do it clever,
Desperate he was to supply his need for the release,
Little did she know what he would do for a piece,
They knock on the door and his son makes a delay,
He walks in the house but considers doing this the right way,
She knows what he has but the man is his friend,
He puts it out back cause this man is his friend,
They talk for a while and things are ok,
Drinkin a few on a nice summer day,
He asks for a loan and the man asks why,
If your selling something ill most likely buy,
The evil kicks in cause hes misunderstood,
He wants it all now, a product of the hood,
Going out back not thinking at all,
Everything was a daze now im acting on gall,
I step back in the house and I sit in the chair,
Look him in the eyes he dont know im not there,
The next thing he knew it was right to his face,
With orders and anger that came with no trace,
What he wanted on the table and his old friend on the ground,
Hands over his head and kids crying in the backround,
Now shes started the truck and hes out on his way,
Gun under the seat and off to just another day,
Though I did my time and I paid my dues,
The money wasnt worth a friend I chose to lose,
I dont write this to brag far be it from me,
I just let this all out so GOD can set me free.
Life wasnt given to us to throw away and hurt people, It was given to live abundent and to love people.
