Forgive Thy Sins

Lost in this isolated lonely place
My mindset imploding
From this hostile face

I’m descending and suffocating
From my fall from grace
And this boxed in claustrophobic space

I repent my disgraceful sins
I feel repulsed by my hateful sins

Someone forgive me
 For these sarcastic smug grins
And rid me of these flightless wings

Lift the overbearing heavy burden
Release these ties and trappings
Of this God like sermon

Show me a sign and let me know for certain
That there’s forgiveness at the final curtain
