Forgive This Poor Sinner
Forgive this poor sinner,
Lost in this spiritual winter,
My cold cold heart has turned to stone,
Never searching for God and always alone.
It was I who strayed from him,
It all began when,
My desires where all that I could see,
Forget God, it was all about me.
Help me God to make a stand,
And find the strength as a mortal man,
To change my life and make it new,
And return one more time to you.
Forgive this poor sinner,
In my spiritual winter,
To turn around and find the one,
Who loved me more than he loved his son.
