Forgive Me My Dear Friend

Long has it been, since I wrote to you my dear friend
Still I don’t know why, but sorry is the word again
First time in life I was asked to be someone I’m not
I’ve made a fool out of my self and there’s nothing I’ve got

I’d never thought I’d hurt you with that, then
I’m really sorry OH my dear friend
You should have told me you don’t like to be teased
I would never had and you’d be pleased

Sorry that I couldn’t make you happy dear
I don’t want to be sad, of which I have fear
I’ve been through so much sorrow and pain
I don’t want it anymore I don’t want to look at it again

I’ve told you before I’m telling you again
If you don’t want me to talk to you just tell it my friend
I hope you’ll be happy when I’m not around you
With comments like that my lost heart just blew

I promise it won’t happen again
I’m really sorry for what I’ve done my dear friend
From the day onwards I’ll try to be the best I can be
But as for today all I’ve got to say is please forgive me
