Forgive Me

MY father paved a path for me to take. I walk the journey he has paved. Making my choices along the way. Some days I trip and stray. Meeting new challenges every day. I am still lost and confused inside my mind. I battle the demons throughout the night. I am sorry to those I’ve hurt. I wish I could turn back the clock. My impulsive behaviors get the best of me. I am only human please forgive me. I try every day to say no to the devils play. But often finding I made another mistake. Today a mistake was committed please forgive me lord for I have sinned. I took the devils hand again. I do my best to comprehend How someone could die for our sins. I am a sinner and sinner I’ll be. Saying things I did not mean. Emotions fill up a broken heart. Challenging my every thought. Love is something you need to grow. Open your heart and clear your mind. And you will find a love so divine.
