Forgive Me
Forgive me....For not being what you deserve,
I was just a man who lost his nerve.....
Forgive me....For not paying much attention to you,
and failing to see things from your point of view.....
Forgive me....For the lack of affection.
Just one of my many imperfections.....
Forgive me....For late night drinking.
What was I thinking?
Forgive me ....For failing to see the warning signs.
I know you're tired of my same old lines.....
Forgive me....For the broken promises and lies.
I admit to being that dark cloud in your beautiful sky.....
Forgive me....For selfish choices I made.
Looking back now, maybe I was just afraid.....
Forgive me....For not taking the time to sit down and listen.
Only to be forgiven is what I'm wishin.....
Forgive me!
