Forgive and Not Forget
Down today I heard him say
The blues don’t seem to go away
It doesn’t matter that the sun will shine
All I want today is to feel just fine
There are things that go through my mind
Those things that I know are hard and not kind
It seems the longer you live the die is set
The harder it is to forgive and not forget.
