Forgive and Forget
Sometimes our pride gets in the way,
of things we would like to say.
Like I'm sorry and I'm wrong,
words that help us get along.
Seems so hard to give in
and be absolved of our sin.
We choose to live with regret,
better to forgive and forget.
We must all learn to bend,
if we hope our hearts to mend.
