Forgive Always

When you’ve been hurt
By people with no heart
And treated like a piece of dirt
By those who think they’re smart

Your heart will slowly fill
With anger and sadness
But they continue still
To taunt and suppress

After all the time passed
You feel you’ll never pardon
Their actions they’ve lashed
And all the things they’ve done

But you know deep down
No matter how hard it might be
Their actions you must condone
In your heart you must guarantee

That you’ll forgive them
Because revenge is wrong
So you mustn’t condemn
Them where they don’t belong

Forgiveness is a very difficult task
But it must always be done
So whenever they come and ask
You tell them forgiveness has already begun

THANK YOU MY FRIEND. Congratulations on your win in Brenda's haters contest. Yes, forgiveness is the key and embracing the light allows one to have the needed sight!
