Forget-Me-Not

I was not with you very long
I'll never sing those childrens' songs
I'll never learn to walk or play
Nor share those special holidays

But God's great wisdom has a plan
Though all who love me may not understand
He knows your loss and how you feel
Be faithful - though His reasons may not reveal

Your great love I've felt in my short time
Draw close my family in your moment of pain
Anyone would envy the love I've left behind
I know my passing would never be in vain
