Forever Will My Soul Endure

My life’s been good. I’ve done a lot.
Though thankful for all that I’ve got,
I suffer searching for a cure.
Forever will my soul endure.

Some good I’ve done, yet there are scores
of souls I know who’ve done much more.
At least I harbor no rancor.
Forever will my soul endure.

Yes, loved ones who’ve inspired me so -
their lessons have helped me to grow.
Sometimes goofy, I’m still mature.
Forever will my soul endure.
