Forever They Sleep In Flames

" Non est ad astra mollis e terris via."
[ There is no easy way from the earth to the stars. ]

---

A quiet night, fire,
from nowhere.

Explosions that boomed,
like flowers that bloom.
Lives perished so soon,
swept by fire, into the gloom.

The earth was shaken
The sky was lightened
The city, slept in flames.

Smoke rose
up to the sky.
Along with souls
lost in the night.

Shaken.
Enlightened.

Forever, they sleep in flames.
And, no longer awaken.

ps.
In remembrance of those perished in TianJin Explosion, 12 August 2015.
May they rest in peace.
