Forever My Love
Listen to poem:
Forever my love you'll be in my dreams
There I'll find your beauty in sleep's twilight
As we cross lush meadows with imagined streams
In gentle slumber as our hearts take flight
This yearnings mist of elusive pursuit
Finds love there with captured hands inlaid
To grasp love's delicious passionate fruit
And kiss the hungry mouth of love unafraid
Forever my love we'll chase desire
And draw it in like evening stars of light
I will pluck the moon and set it on fire
Then kiss each fevered part of you by night
Together we'll tether warm passion's glow
In timeless dreams where we met long ago
