Forever Love

These lonely tears, cold as the night I shed for sake of thee Time may fade from black and white But thou wilt ever be with me As suns will set within my heart Lord, spare the sorrow I may see All this grief doth play its part But thou wilt ever be with me As I walk this unfamiliar lane Inviting hope to set me free It's but one love that stills the pain And thou wilt ever be with me. 02/06/2019

You have created a beauty wrapped with tears of words coming out from your heart. Very nicely crafted poem dear friend. Sorry dear friend I missed your comment of May 19 on my Tribute on Mother's Day poem. With best wishes ...Ravindra K kapoor

You said it so well in these lines, Charlie. Having lost my dear wife Vera of 66 years in July, these words are of great comfort to me and as I wrote in a recent poem about her passing "you'll ever be my wife through all eternity" - Bob

Sorry for your loss Bob, I wrote this for an old friend's wife who just lost her husband of 55 years. She seems to be just lost...

This pains my heart. It's been quite some time since I've browsed these pages, but I'm glad my eyes saw your name, Charlie. I hope you're well.
