Forever Lost

What we were we can't be any more One of us has changed the score The songs we sang are gone forever Now I wonder was it really never Were we only good time friends Nothing we say can change the end We were blessed for a very long time We had something that I felt was fine Now we find it hard to be as were were before How sad it is, we can be friends no more Mourning the loss of a long time friend

This is tough. I have experienced this, but I have also been blessed with lifelong friendships that are so rewarding. Sometimes we do not know what makes people change.

It just tells us that not everyone is what they seem. This was after 15 years which is why it hurt. I do know who my true friends are and am grateful for them. Blessings Edith
