Forever, Just Two Lonely Souls

We swore it was forever
our souls were bound,
through time in a minute
I could never have loved anyone
the way I loved you

But our soul was just a figment
it destroys me truly
and through time meant only a day
we are now just two lonely souls.

True love, you promised
hearts and bodies facing life
I would have kissed you always
I shared with you a true love
souls and bodies facing life

But our soul was just a ghost
you never believed
you never believed
we are now just two lonely bodies.

True love, you promised
I would have waited for you for always
our hearts were connected,

But our pulse was just a ghost
you never believed
and always meant only a day
we are now just two lonely souls.
