Forever in Your Eyes
From the beginning, it was in your eyes
Opening your heart, mind and soul to me.
Rescuing me from myself and the loneliness inside.
Each step we took brought new emotions and promises.
Variations on a theme played in the background
Enticing and exciting every breath we took
Reaching deep into our one blended soul.
Iconical, indescribable love ingrained within a dream
Nervously given, magnificently accepted and shared.
Youthful yearnings so sincere bound in body and soul
Openly we gave and once given never taken back
United as one our love was unquenchable
Relentless almost radioactive.
Each encounter was effortlessly evolving
Your eyes touching mine
Easing to promises of forever love
Soon lost in broken promises of a forever never to be.
