Forever In His Heart
Note: This is a short poem my husband left for me when he left very early this morning for a
trip to Maine. He knows I am playing around with poetry writing and got inspired himself!
As the lover traveled to Maine
his heart knew it was not in Vain
to worry about his own true love
He asked for her protection from above
so forever with her in his heart
he could feel okay to depart.
