Forever In Dream

Not knowing Weighs the heaviest on the mind For the dreams of what could be Occupy the very core of being Allowing not the breath of free time My mind seems Forever set on dreaming The constant wishing of changed color A penetrable hue of fragrance and emotion The very offerings that breathe life Back into my dying heart and mind

I understand this so well. I just want to know. I wish I believed in fortune tellers and they could say yes this is what's going to happen. I'd probably miss the dreaming though. Laurie

Wow! Much to ponder here. So much truth in your opening lines. Interesting poem. I've already read it twice. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and for your ongoing encouragement. Karen
