Forever Grateful

Excuse me, and excuse yourself
If you think you were unfair
You were not, because you felt
That for me you mustn’t care
Without caring, as you know
There’s no faith in bright tomorrow
You decided I must go
Thank you darling for my sorrow
There is nothing you can say
How would you feel in my case
When your love says go away
And you cannot see that face
You have never been involved
In the stranger situation
When the one you love turns cold
Without any explanation
And no certain age can tell
Where to the rejected goes
It’s the other people’s hell
You do not belong to those
I sincerely apologize
If I made you feel frustrated
Blame it all on me, its wise
There I go, forever grateful
I was stealing time of yours
With nonsensical chit chat
Till you finished this - of course,
There’s no guilt of you in that.

Creative lines penned in this one. Losing the love of another that you love must be very difficult. Life does issue out some terrible blows from time to time. Thanks for sharing it with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Thank you, dear Sara! Your response is very supportive. Indeed, parting is a great disappointment, especially when it comes abruply, you feel like you lost bearings, but on the other hand, I don't want to blame anyone, except myself.
