Forever Gone

Those days are gone in the past
Leaving a deep hole in my heart
Scars there just beneath, unseen
Tearing me up, always hurting.

I can't help remembering, wondering
What if? Just to hurt more
At times wishing I could be there again
Knowing I never will, Slowly dieing.

Ones lost, gone but in my heart
Anger over such sadness, beyond belief
Grief is my most dear friend even unwanted
Wanting what never can be, tormented.

Always, forever, never to be
Alone, done, want it over
Pain, sorrow, emptiness deep inside
But your forever gone.
