Forever
I whispered your name
But the wind masked it
And took it far away
I felt the pull but helpless
I cried for control and
Prayed an arrow would
Pierce your heart from
Cupids' bow and startle you
I tossed a boomerang held
My breath and prayed
It would return with you
My love my soul my quest
Irrefutable the one I love
More than all the rest
I feel a fool guilty of
Betraying my own emotions
But why past lives maybe
Who could know?
Dare I argue with what I
Feel my soul needs?
I only pray for guidance.
Tell me show me the way
Emotions confuse me lead me astray!
A prayer ,a path , a light to guide
I am my worst enemy
Dare my heart hide!
