Forever

You may not ever see but
Forever is just a word.
Nothing is real.
Why do you keep trying to hold on?

Forever never was and never
Will be yours,
Whatever you are said,
It is a pretty lie.

Though you don't listen to, and
Don't catch the sense,
Soon your world will crash and
You'll forget yourself.

Forever is just a word,
Confusion put in mind,
Forever is unreal.
Forever is a lie.
