Forever
Forever isn't a long time
Atleast to hearts full of love
Cause with the passing of time
It keeps growing, limits it doesn't have
That's why we free to love different
For each heart feels in its own way
And each has a different,
way of experiencing what it feels day by day
Thats why it's hard to chose who to love
We just have options everywhere
It's for our hearts to chose who to have
And that love can be found anywhere
Thats why our parents were okay marrying close
It's cause the world hadn't open to them
Now we've got the whole world on a dial, upclose
Filled with options but still losing to them
Maybe because their love was one that endured
Not just in it for the good days but also the bad
And because they also dared
To try to make it work even when it was all bad
I'd want that old kinda love
Where the feeling didn't have a price tag
It was the one thing one couldn't have
By buying their way through
