Forest Fire

Forest fire engulfs a fleeing deer Ignited by some John Doe. Raging heat turning deer to venison Engulfing the innocents to die. Nature as no defence when fire comes to call tree or creature doomed to be turned into charcoal . At man's command acres burnt, life extinguished Nature wounded facing an uncertain crossroads Fire and flames respect no borders Buildings burning, barns engulfed Created by nature or man made matters not. blazing backwoods encompassed And just for the sake of a barbecue ember or the smouldering butt of a smoke. was a comp entry 21042016 pulled it, done it wrong only rhymed 2nd and 4th lines lol call this a steve sonnet new form lol
