Forest Butterfly

Alone upon a foreign shore,
And deep within the forest realm.
Gliding just above the forest floor
Colors flashing, jerking, flowing
Rapture: a maestro moving.
Fragile so alive and reckless.
Stunning ballerina prancing,
Dancing tales of lesser lore
Discover overwhelming awe,
Give me more and more and more!
A sight enchanting to behold
Leaves floating on a surface stream.
Give me space and time to dream,
For memories long forgotten.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
