Foregone Conclusion
You've reached your
goal
and now you can take
some time
to revel in
your success
Yet it's transitory
like everything else
The end of the story
is always the same
If you wish
you can try to
"live in the moment"
or
"be here now"
However you try to build
your dam
to hold back the rushing
waters of time
you will always
wind up in the same position
Yet the sun still shines
Moonglow still pierces
the night air
A delicate piece of
crystal, this life
