Forbidden Love

the time you took my frostbitten hands in yours and held them against your face. the darkened days soon to come as depressed clouds showered the earth in rain. my silky hair sprawled aimlessly across the bed. a soft, feathery kiss. three words never to be spoken again. the chains hugging me tightly, letting me go no further. the pain hidden behind vacuous hazel eyes. the mask of lies and deceit. forbidden love never meant to be but already past.
