Forbidden Love

Why should people call it forbidden love?
What about it is so sinful?
To want their lips on yours,
Feeling their soft touch on your body.
Nothing about love should be forbidden.
It should be welcomed,
and invited.
Yet poets are still writing about what cannot be.
Maybe one day, forbidden love can turn into
The love that came to be.

Humanity has always believed in gods who don't know what they are doing and need the help of mankind, so legislation has always been enacted as to who can love whom, and how, and when, and where, because sticking one's nose in the affairs of others is more interesting! Aloha!
