Forbidden Love
I have seen forbidden fruit,
I want it more than ever,
May I taste what I see?
No, not today or tomorrow, never.
I imagine that sweet on my tongue,
May I hold, may I touch?
Just beyond my grasp,
I need it so much.
So beautiful this eye candy,
Sparkling to the eye,
How sweet it must be,
But I can never touch, Oh! Why?
We can never become as one,
Forbidden fruit so sweet,
I cannot live,
Why did we ever meet?
Forbidden fruit I cannot resist,
What harm can it do?
To have, to hold, to taste,
I only want to love you.
