Forbidden Fruit

Looking so sumptuous Tempting unknowingly Edging on onlookers To do much more than stare You insist to remain forbidden But you desire to be claimed Should I pick this forbidden fruit? Oh no, I do not dare To pick you would be lethal Poisonous in your nature I fall into your trap Of great despair Now I am just another victim Of this forbidden fruit Irresistible to the eye Deadly to the touch
