Forbidden
It smile at me from a far,
it caught my eyes and I was
mesmerized,
it was beautiful and exotic,
it eventually became irresistible to me
I had been cautioned against it,
I was told that its allure was tempting
yet still I fallowed,
it was forbidden, and that was part
of the attraction,
It took me in a strange, unassuming
manner,
the temptation was all too much to
bear,
I wanted it and had to have it,
I would not be denied,
I didn't ponder the consequence
of my new obsession,
The taboo had me under its spell,
I was lost and captivated forever.
